I’m sentimental & very VISUAL.
For this reason, I have too many
memory boxes.

I go by my eye, creativity & intuition,
Often leading from the heart.

our home is cosy & lived in -
my greatest joy is a full house,
mania in the kitchen & dancing around the cocktail station.

I’m fortunate TO find home & meaning in many destinations - thanks to Ambitious roadtrips & boltholEs around the world.

Feelings are very tangible to me,
I speak with my hands, hug Tightly & have been known to shed a tear or two.

questions and Answers

Where are you based?

I moved from the city to rural Yorkshire in the North of England. In our little stone house, on the edge of the Dales.

It’s likely to find us working across Europe for many months across the year.

In the Winter seasons I’m usually in the French Alps. Working from my laptop, whilst enjoying the mountain air & playing in the snow!

The Summer season see’s me across Europe in sunny destinations; often in South of France, Italy, Croatia or a beautiful Greek Island.
Check my availability if you’d like to add your destination to the list?

Where did you get married?

On one of our early roadtrips across Europe, Steve proposed on the island in the middle of Lake Bled, Slovenia. We had to share this magical place so in 2015, 35 of our nearest & dearest came to celebrate with us. We had the most wonderful 3 days; wine tastings, boat trips on the lake & slow quality time with my favourite people, in our favourite place. You can read more about our day here on Love My Dress

Although the planning wasn’t so straightforward (a story to have over a glass of something fun!). I knew there was a better way for couples to escape with ease. And so began my pursuit to help couples bridge the gap between their wedding plans & their destination…

Where do you cover?

Europe focused weddings.

I’d love to say anywhere! And that may be partially true, but there are certainly some destinations that resonate with me & my passions.

This often has a lot to do with the setting;
wild coastlines, mountains, lakes, vineyards, sun-bleached buildings.
I suppose anywhere that isn’t too pristine, raw materials, character in abundance, stories to tell,
& above all organic nature.

In the cases, where we might not be the right fit, I will certainly know a planner colleague that will be best for you.

How did you get into wedding planning?

My career began with corporate hospitality in the sporting events industry - the pinnacle being the London 2012 Olympics. Moving organically into management of the most iconic events venues including the OXO Tower in London & The Royal Liver Building in Liverpool. These distinctive locations attracted exceptional couples & businesses, searching for a unique way to celebrate their weddings, marketing & experiences.

I suppose I always knew it was people & events; from the age of twelve packing delegate bags to getting a First degree & special honours - basically a nerd award - in events!
Conveying a moment, service or people’s stories through experiences is what they really mean to me.

Who do you choose to work with?

I’ve had my time cooridinating 100+ weddings a year in events venues, I now thrive in the slower, more intentional practice of planning destination weddings The pride I have in my work takes time & consideration. I limit myself to a certain amount of weddings & elopements per year - all based on our alignment & compatibility. There lies the value of a Discovery Call - to see if we’re the right fit.
Often I get butterflies, almost like a first date
- it’s a collaborative partnership.

Do you find wedding planning stressful?

Yes, and I can still love what I do. And I truly believe that when you two are made for each other, the skies could fall down on your wedding day & it would still be one of the most magical days of your life.
That’s my logic, & I’m sticking to it!
